A note from the owner: I have traveled around the world, even living in other countries. What I found is that parents' hopes and fears for their children are largely the same, across the globe. When any one person in the family has a learning disability or speech impairment, it impacts the whole family. I want to support your family, as you create your own family culture, by providing in-home or online speech, language, and literacy services. My approach focuses on evidence-based practices to ensure effective and lasting results.

Your Speech-Language Pathologist
Services are provided by a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. I have a master's degree in communication disorders, a master's degree in education (teaching ESL) and 20 years experience in schools, clinics, teletherapy, and skilled nursing/rehab, with all ages and abilities.
Our Services
At Family Culture SLP, I offer a range of speech, language, and literacy services. I have a special interest in helping struggling readers, including those diagnosed with dyslexia.
Dyslexia Services
Do you have a struggling reader in your house? One of my greatest joys is helping students find their confidence in reading. I am trained in the Slant System, and I also have experience with the IMSE program. Both are effective programs of reading intervention, following the Orton-Gillingham method of a structured, multi-sensory approach to reading instruction.
Payment and Costs
At this time, we can only offer a private pay option for services; we do not accept insurance. However, a superbill will be provided at your request, which may assist you in obtaining partial reimbursement through insurance or tax filing.
